The WireXpert MP FQ combines the full power of multimode and singlemode fiber certification in one cost-effective package. It features a broadband power meter covering 800 to 1650 nm and a comprehensive set of light sources: an EF-compliant 850 nm LED for accurate multimode measurements (eliminating the need for expensive mode conditioning cords), a 1300 nm LED, and Fabry-Perot lasers at 1310 nm and 1550 nm for singlemode testing. Two integrated red light sources (for 1.25 mm and 2.5 mm ferrules) simplify visual fault location without requiring adapters. Exchangeable adapters for LC, SC, and FC connectors are included, offering maximum flexibility. The device provides a guided user experience for fiber testing, making complex tasks straightforward. Built-in DocuCam™ with flash allows for easy visual documentation of cabling, while LinkTrack™ streamlines link tracking via QR code generation and scanning. Integrated project management and PDF reporting ensure professional documentation. The ergonomic design features the advanced Dual Control System DCS+™ with two large, responsive multi-touch screens, dual AUTOTEST buttons for left- and right-handed users, and FlipTags™ for flexible local/remote assignment.
